hmmm: what do i want for my birthday.
might as well go wild.
- i’d like a fish eye lens for my nikon
- possibly some nice high leather winter boots instead of my torn up forever21 ones
- new guitar strings
- a nice salon appointment at which i could go a little lighter red and get some new layers
- ingrid michaelson and andrew bird’s new albums, which don’t come out until the end of this month and march, respectively
now, realistic stuff:
- those guitar strings
- to play a show at which everyone present buys me champagne :) everything is totally in line for that one to happen for reals. yay.
- bought myself a new dress friday night, that counts.
- toying with the idea of a new tattoo!
that’s pretty much all i got. i like to say it’s all about me, and where that might be warranted on my birthday of all days, i’m still so incredibly thankful and grateful for everything i have. i am so blessed with family, friends, an education, an apartment, a snooty slobbery smelly dog that i love with all my heart, and everything else God has so mercifully blessed me with. i am thankful for my talents and abilities, and am focused this year on using them to glorify God. this year! this whole new year, in which i am turning TWENTY TWO years old. dang :)
